SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 48 CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE 14 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. SWEEPSTAKES STARTS ON March 6, 2008 12:00 A.M. EST. AND ENDS ON April 1st, 2008 11:59 P.M. EST.

There are two ways to enter. To enter on-line, fill out the official on-line entry form including your full name, address, city, state, zip code, daytime phone number, e-mail address and birth date. Limit one entry per person, regardless of entry method. Multiple entries, or entries generated by script, macro, bot, or other automated means will be disqualified. If you are under the age of 18, you must obtain your parent or legal guardian’s consent to enter this sweepstakes. Any entry information collected from the sweepstakes shall be used only in a manner consistent with the consent given by entrants at the time of entry and with The Island Def Jam Music Group’s On-Line Privacy Policy, which can be found at: http://www2.islanddefjam.com/email/defjamprivacy.html. You must be a legal resident of the contiguous 48 United States and the District of Columbia and be at least 14 years old or older as of your date of entry. Employees and agents of The Universal Music Group, The Island Def Jam Music Group, Microsoft Corporation and each of their respective affiliate, subsidiary, and parent companies, and advertising and promotions agencies and their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and their spouses) are ineligible to enter or win.

Prize: 5 Grand Prizes Winners will receive: 1 Xbox 360 Pro Console and 1 12-month Subscription to Xbox Live. Approximate retail value for all of the above items, in the aggregate: $2,000. No transfer, substitution or cash alternative permitted, except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If the winning entry was made online, the entry will be deemed submitted by the e-mail account holder associated with such entry, as solely determined by Sponsor. Any taxes or any fees or costs associated with the Prize are the sole responsibility of each Prize Winner. Each Prize Winner (or his or her parent or legal guardian) will be required to complete and return an IRS W-9 form. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied.

10 Runners up will receive: 1 or more CD’s. Approximate retail value for all of the above items, in the aggregate: $200.00. No transfer, substitution or cash alternative permitted, except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If the winning entry was made on-line, the entry will be deemed submitted by the e-mail account holder associated with such entry, as solely determined by Sponsor. Any taxes or any fees or costs associated with the Prize are the sole responsibility of each Prize Winner. Each potential Prize Winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received, on or about April 2nd, 2008 by Sponsor or its designee. If Sponsor or its designee is unable to contact any potential Prize Winner by e-mail or phone (using the contact information provided at the time of entry) and/or if any potential Prize Winner fails to respond to notification within two (2) business days of issuance, the potential winner(s) will be disqualified and forfeit his or her right to a prize, and an alternate winner will be selected. Within ten (10) days of the date of the notification letter, each potential Prize Winner (or his or her parent or legal guardian if he or she is a minor) will be required to execute (and have his or her signature notarized) an affidavit of eligibility, general release of liability and consent (in writing, if requested) to the use of his or her name, voice, likeness, and/or photograph, and biographical information for promotional purposes, including on-line announcements, without additional compensation of any kind, except where prohibited by law. If any Grand Prize Winner is a minor in his or her state of legal residence, such Prize will be awarded in the name of the Prize Winner’s parent or legal guardian. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received by Sponsor.

General Conditions. Sponsor, The Universal Music Group, any Internet access providers, each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their agents, officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) disclaim any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate entry of entry information, human error, technical malfunctions, lost / delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof, inability to access any web site or download materials, damage to a user's computer system (hardware and software) due to participation in this sweepstakes, or late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, mechanically reproduced, illegible or postage due entries or mail. If in the opinion of Sponsor, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of this sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of this sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate this sweepstakes, and award the prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the action requiring such termination. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action by the Sponsor or its designees.

Entrants agree to hold harmless the Released Parties from and against all claims and damages arising in connection with their participation and/or entry in this sweepstakes and/or the awarding or use of any prizes awarded.

Winner’s List. For the names of the Grand Prize Winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: The Island Def Jam Music Group: Island Records Contest / 825 8th Avenue, New York, New York 10019 Attention: New Media Department. Requests received after May 10th, 2008 will not be honored. This sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York of the United States of America and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited by law.
